Dear Band Parents,
The Marching Band and Guard have been working very hard memorizing their music and learning their drills. They are wonderful to watch and hear at the weekly football games. As you must realize, they need to be chaperoned at all functions. With this large group of performers, it is necessary to have at least 10 adults on hand other than the teachers working with them.
Right now I only have a list of 12 parents willing to chaperone at games and parades. This means most of these busy parents need to be available each Saturday, as well as other days for the parades and Competitions to watch over your children (young
adults). If each of you could give us one day, everyone would benefit from hearing and seeing their child perform, without feeling that it is becoming a chore; not the pleasure that it truly is. A few hours one day shouldn't be impossible.Please look over the football schedule and either e-mail me or call me at (732) 549-8685 to let us know the Band Parents Association can count on your help and support. it is also necessary to be a paid member of the Association to be a chaperone, so if you haven't already filled out your membership form, please do so and send it in with payment to the next band practice.
